The job of Manhattan Borough President calls for a new Democrat -- a dedicated,
committed and experienced professional. I would like you to give me the opportunity
to serve and represent you in this important post.
On the right side of this
page, you will find links to pages that explore the issues most important to
all New Yorkers. Those pages contain information
about what I have accomplished and the steps that I will take as your borough
president to improve your life and the lives of all New Yorkers.
Many of my views have been shaped by my professional experiences working in private
sectors jobs such as Section 8 housing and the information technology
industry. I also learned a lot in my public sectors jobs and many of my
views were shaped by my work experiences in such City agencies as the Department
of Information Technology and Telecommunications (DoITT) and the Department
of Youth and Community Development (DYCD.) Equally important, my views
reflect my personal experience and community activism in the McManus Democratic
Association and as an elected Democratic State Committeeman representing
the Hell’s Kitchen and Chelsea areas. In other words, my views and
opinions are based -- not upon theory -- but upon what I’ve
seen and heard first-hand “on the job.”
On Tuesday, September
13, 2005, you will have a choice of candidates to represent you. I hope
by then to earn your trust, support and your vote.
Thank you for considering
me.
